Our Trainers

Angie Hall, executive director and co-founder

Angie Hall has been training dogs for over 15 years. She has extensive experience training numerous breeds of dogs of all ages. Angie believes it’s important to build a lifelong bond with your dog through obedience training. Her training methods instill confidence and tolerance which Angie believes is just as important as teaching obedience skills. She uses positive reinforcement to teach dogs to respond out of love and understanding, never fear.

Angie previously served as the Therapy Dog Program Director and Head Trainer for another local organization for 11 years. She is also an approved evaluator for the American Kennel Club.

In 2013, Angie and her therapy dog Mater trained for and passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test and began making therapy dog visits throughout the Quad Cities. She and Mater attended over 600 therapy dog visits throughout the QCA in Mater’s time with us.

Sadly Mater crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022, but Angie continues Mater’s legacy by visiting schools, libraries, and special events with her Therapy Dogs, Sully, Mr. Mo and Oliver.

Alina has had a love of dogs since she was very little (she gets that from her mom). She started training dogs in 2013 as part of a 4H project. She then moved on to helping train facility dogs to work in schools, and then eventually she trained service dogs throughout her High School Career. While attending Augustana College for 4 years Alina also volunteered her time as an assistant trainer, training household pets and therapy dogs. Alina is also an approved evaluator for the American Kennel Club.

Alina believes training dogs is not just teaching them commands, it's about understanding the individual needs of each dog and helping them build their confidence and a bond with their owner that will last the lifetime of the dog.

Since 2013 Alina has attended hundreds of therapy dog visits throughout the QCA with numerous therapy dogs. Alina graduated Augustana in 2023 and she currently volunteers her time helping train pets and therapy dogs. She also loves attending therapy dog visits, you’re likely to see her at a local event with Therapy Dog Chase, Sully, Oliver or Mo.
